AFTER HIS ARREST, KIZZ DANIEL BREAKS SILENCE, APPOLOGIES, AND ANNOUNCES A FREE SHOW TO MAKE UP

Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage name Kizz Daniel, has expressed regret to his followers for skipping a concert on Sunday in Tanzania.

Following his refusal to appear at the concert despite being paid, the Buga hitmaker was detained by Tanzanian law enforcement on August 8 in Dar es Salaam.

According to the show’s promoter, who made this claim in an interview, the singer allegedly declined to perform because the airline neglected to transport his bag containing his gold chains, and he insisted he would not perform until he was wearing all of his gold chains.

During a press conference on Tuesday night, Kizz Daniel provided his perspective on the situation, apologized to his fans, and guaranteed a free performance on Friday.

He stated in the video: “I know it was out of love, but the people were already going crazy; the supporters were going crazy.” In order to respect the fans, I was instructed to wait. You must not go; it is not secure. So I gave my OK.

We agreed to perform a makeup show for free after I sat down with the team, the organizers, and the promoters to brainstorm ways to make it up to the Tanzanian fans. Even this time, I consented to work with them in partnership.

I’ll be working with Straight Up Vibes to put on a free event this Friday. I’m sorry to the supporters. Nothing was done on purpose.
