Army kills top Boko Haram leader Abu Hassan and several members

No fewer than 19 bandit leaders in the nation’s North West, North East, and North Central regions have been designated wanted by the Defense Headquarters.

In an engagement in the Mafa region of Borno State, Operation Hadin Kai troops reportedly killed 14 terrorists, including Abu Hassan, a Commander (Munzir) of the Boko Haram terrorist organization.

On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, sources state that Abu Hassan, a terrorist Commander, and 13 other rebels were killed.

 

Summary: One of the terrorists was overheard telling a commander in Abu Iklima’s camp that 13 of their soldiers, including Abu Hassan, had been killed by the infidels (security agents).

“Someone opened fire on us as we withdrew from the Ngowom village battleground. The bodies are with us as we travel. We’re traveling to Gaizuwa. Abu Hassan is dozing (dead). A few of our warriors also sustained injuries. We might require immediate medical attention. The outlaw is quoted by Counter Insurgency expert Zagazola Makama as stating, “Please be on standby.

Nigeria, the most populous nation in Africa, has been dealing with Boko Haram attacks in the northeast since 2009.

The North West, North East, and North Central regions of the country’s bandit leaders are now wanted, according to the Defence Headquarters.

The military also offered a N5 million reward for information leading to the capture of the bandit kingpins and invited the public to contact them at 09135904467.

Ado Aliero from Yankuzo village in Tsafe LGA, Zamfara State, Monore from Yantumaki village in Dan LGA, Katsina State, Gwaska Dankarami from Shamushele village in the Zuri LGA, Baleri from Shinkafi LGA, Zamfara State, and Mamudu Tainange from Varanda village in Batsari LGA, Zamfara State are other wanted kingpins.
