Brazil will face Ghana and Tunisia before the Qatar World Cup.

In order to prepare for the World Cup in Qatar, the Brazilian soccer federation announced on Friday that the national team would play Ghana and Tunisia in September.

Players would be competing to earn a spot on the 26-man roster that would compete in the tournament.

The matches will take place on September 23 and 27 at as-yet-unnamed venues in Europe, according to the Brazilian federation’s website.

On September 9, it was revealed that Head Coach Tite would reveal his shortlist for the friendly games.

Brazil is now ranked number one in the world by FIFA and is one of the favorites to win the World Cup, which will be held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18.

Last month, Tite told Reuters he was encouraged by the growth of young players who were well-known last season and will be available for the national team in Qatar, relieving pressure off of superstar Neymar of Paris St. Germain.

Brazil is in Group G and will make its debut on November 24 against Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon in an attempt to win a record-extending sixth World Cup.

Ghana will compete in Group H alongside South Korea, Portugal, and Uruguay, and may play Brazil in a potential round of 16 match.

In Group D, Tunisia will compete against France, the current world champions, Australia, and Denmark.
