Kidnappers of Nollywood actors demands $100000 for their release-AGN

After twenty four hours that Nollywood actors and members of the ACTORS GUILD OF NIGERIA, Cynthia Okereke and Cornel Clemson a.k.a Agbogidi, were kidnapped in Enugu while returning from a movie location, their abductors have contacted their families.

The prominent actors were reported missing after their families confirmed they didn’t return home from a movie location at Ozala town, Enugu Nigeria on Thursday. The actors are known for featuring in movies shot within Enugu and Delta region.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria President, Emeka Rollas made it known on saturday that the kidnappers have contacted the actors families and requested for a huge amount of money in dollars.

Mr Rollas made it known that the kidnappers demanded for $100,000 ransom.

He said:We pray to God for his intervention and for Him to put confusion in their midst.

“We are also working closely with the different security operatives, but we are not sure what to expect from them because the same thing is happening everywhere in the country.”

He also said members of AGN are working closely with the families of the actors and also working with the security operatives to ensure they are release safely.
