The world has just been stunned by Leon Edwards. In the main event of UFC 278 the Englishman unexpectedly came back to knock out Kamaru Usman, the welterweight champion, in the fifth round to win the championship.

Edwards, who most thought to be losing the fight, had almost little time left to act before unleashing a head kick with his right leg that instantly knocked Usman out.

Just a few seconds after Usman’s own finish of Colby Covington in 2019, Edwards achieved the fourth-fastest conclusion in a championship fight when referee Herb Dean stopped it at 4:04 of Round 5.
