PDP: Atiku won 2023 Presidential polls

PDP: BVAS, solution to election rigging

The chairman of the Atiku/Ombugadu campaign council in Nasarawa State, Sen. Walid Jibrin, claims that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) will prevent election fraud in 2023.

Jibrin, a former BOT PDP Chairman, made this claim during the party’s campaign in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa state’s.

In order to ensure that the votes of the people were counted, he said that BVAS would reduce electoral fraud during the general elections.

In order to elect Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as president of Nigeria and Dr. David Ombugadu as governor of Nasarawa State, and all other PDP candidates in 2023, the chairman urged the electorate.

He claimed that Atiku would deliver Nigeria from its myriad problems at the moment.

“A vote for Atiku/Okowa will help Nigeria overcome its current problems, whereas a vote for Ombugadu/Ohinoyi will hasten state growth.

“Voting for all of our PDP candidates will enable us to all enjoy the critically important democratic benefits,” he stated.

The Director-General of the Atiku/Ombugadu Campaign Council in Nasarawa State, Mr. Labaran Maku, referred to Nasarawa North as the PDP’s “home zone” and promised that the region would produce Atiku, Ombugadu, and all other PDP candidates by the year 2023.

If elected, PDP would combat insecurity and advance peace in the state and the nation as a whole, according to Maku, a native of the Akwanga zone and former minister of information.

In order to overthrow the APC government at the federal and state levels, the director general advised people who have not yet gotten their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so.

Sen. Suleiman Adoke and Alhaji Mohammed Jafar, a former representative for the Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, both predicted that the BVAS will overthrow the APC administration in 2023.

Additionally, they pleaded with voters to support Atiku Abubakar for president, David Ombugadu for governor of the state, and all other PDP candidates.

Both Chief Mike Abdul, a former deputy governor of Nasarawa state, and Chief Jacob Ali, the zonal chairman of the PDP in Nasarawa North, guaranteed PDP a sizable vote in the state.

They designated the Akwanga zone as a PDP stronghold.

They advised voters to support every PDP candidate in 2023 in order to reap the benefits of democracy.

“APC must be changed; it is imperative to show APC the exit because APC has failed and is continuing failing us.

“Many have left due to unrest, starvation, and poverty. It’s time to bid APC farewell, he added.

If elected governor, Dr. David Ombugadu, the PDP candidate in the state, vowed to prioritize infrastructure projects related to security, water, health, and education.

Ombugadu promised that the PDP would not let the electorate down and asked them to have faith in the party.

The PDP governorship candidate also pledged to give women’s and young people’s empowerment top priority.
