Ruger: I’m now a born again Christian

In advance of the release of his debut album, Nigerian dancehall master Ruger made the announcement that he had accepted Christ as his personal Savior.

Ruger said on his Instagram story on September 22, 2022, that he had changed his spiritual direction and had made the audacious decision to commit his life to Christ.

After experiencing what he described as a deliverance session at Tabernacle Christian Center, he revealed what had happened.

On this record, I confessed a lot of things. I’ve been reborn, you guys. For the deliverance service, shout out to Tabernacle Christian Centre,” reads the caption on a photo of Ruger in front of the church.

New Album, New Man: Ruger has presented himself as a brand-new person who has been born again in Christ, and he says that this was inspired by the process of recording his debut album.

After releasing two enormously successful EPs, fans will be eager to hear what the Dancehall Ragga superstar has in store for them on the highly anticipated album, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Given that Ruger is well-known for producing music that may not exactly be regarded as Christ-like, it remains to be seen how his decision to commit his life to Christ will affect his artistic vision.

His debut record, in any case, will definitely reveal a lot.
